It’s 11:40 and I’m just finishing up my school work for the night. I wish that was all I had to finish before sleep tonight, but alas, it is not.
But before I move on to the last tasks of the day, here’s my “NERDY SEMINARY WORD FOR THE NIGHT”, taken from my readings on John in An Introduction to the New Testament (Carson, Moo and Morris).
How do I not already know the meaning of this word???
“Amanuensis”.
a person employed to write what another dictates or to copy what has been written by another; secretary.
As In: “I certainly wish I had an amanuensis to type my next paper that’s due tomorrow while I dictate it and eat ice cream and bonbons.”
